Yes because most mobile phone have a fake zoom they called digital zoom so when you use a high megapixel to crop digital zoom you have more detail in the photo that's if you have good lighting.

The native stock cam app for See-How-Me is rubbish!!!

In dim light condition, the app will use the main 50MP Sony LYT900 (1") sensor to capture anything between 1.0X tlll 19.9X zoom. But when zoom at exactly 20.0x, then only the app will use the ISOCELL HP9 200MP sensor. Therefore, that extra 50MP Sony IMX858 (1/2.51") is useless during low light condition. They should have followed BBK's zooming algorithm in lowlight to start using the HP9 sensor from 3.7X onwards. DJ Koh's Note24 totally failed in low light pix...

CSOT (part of TCL) group have been long time supplier for Xiaomi since 2020

It's not the best panel around. Because this time use micro lens technology to save on battery energy (this explains the lower than before viewing angle) but if you think they cutting corners then you can choose Samsung as always

I trust Xiaomi in terms of reliability and durability. All my Mi phones are still working. Even my Poco X3 is still surviving being tossed around by my daughter

Probably a software update can settle it if they really want to fix it. Like you said the hardware is there just the algorithm not tweaked. But you can force it to 200 with ultra hd right but macam cannot zoom?

I’m already having an iPhone 16 Pro Max as my main phone but my secondary iPhone was stolen recently, so I’m still searching for its replacement. In my case, is it worth getting an Xiaomi 15 Ultra for photography? I have no issue with my 16PM for photography though but it seems 15 Ultra takes more aesthetic looks photos which I like.

I have left Android since 2020 and never really used a Xiaomi phone before but if my memory serves me well, I remember it had a lot of ads. Is it still the case in 2025?

I checked out Shopee and it’s around RM 4.7k. I will probably wait until Lazada birthday and Payday sales to see if the price will be more competitive.
