Hi guys, here's a quick summary about myself:

Around October 2022, I got a job as online customer support and I've been working for this company ever since then until now, which is almost 3 years now.

It's a work from home job, and I'm getting tired of working alone at home.

I graduated with a banking degree in 2018, basically in between 2018-2022, I was hopping in between jobs.
Here are the 3 options I am looking at:

1) Data Analyst
2) Data Scientist
3) Backend developer
I am 30 now, and I wonder will my age affects my employability in Malaysian market, and realistically speaking, how realistic is it for me to learn the skills required so that I could be good enough & employable to be either one of the 3 options above in between 3 to 6 months?

you worked 7 years only? means you graduated at age 23yo?

why so delay?

I think the earlier you change career the better. 30yo, maybe a bit late bit still ok. I have known people at 37yo changed career.

Uni 4 years, and extended a year.

There's also some personal issues as well.

Yes I want to change, but I don't know how, desperately needed guidance sad.gif

your degree is 5 years?

banking degree so long one?

if you so eager to change role mind as well aim to migrate and work overseas.

your young age will suit you.

maybe you can consider to take up studies in germany or sweden at one of their free universities and study their language, then migrate there.

My degree is 4 years, but I failed a semester, which then has to be extended for another year.

Yeah I would like to, but I don't have a proper guidance as what exact steps do I need to take to get there.

If you failed one whole semester, best is to change your degree

I know a friend who failed his 2 whole semester doing accountancy, switched to Marketing.

Today he is a VP marketing driving mercedes benz

Haha I think I'm 7 years too late for that, can't I just find a marketing related job instead?

sometimes its best to stick to your field.
