Definitely. Follow what the others have commented. Get a second opinion from another contractor, don't mention its leaking, let them figure it out, and propose a remedial measure. Not every repairman is skilled. So, get more to have a look at it, and sometimes it's a matter of what tools they have, so if they can't do it, find someone who can.
