It seems like there is issue with the forum
May be Android chrome update

But here's is what has been tested myself

1. Logged in mobile version would have stop functioning after maybe 2 to 4 pages changes. Means clicking to a thread, click back, click subforum link , after like 4 times the page will load halfway, sometimes can still scroll down to a white blank page but anything less then swiping away reloading would be useless

2. Previous months have another issue, where if I go to another tab, for some times, and come back to the forum tab, it will be full blank. That one a refresh or change app would solve it

3. Back to the 1st problem, use mobile version in incognito mode, no problem, logged out in normal mode mobile version no problem, try logging in on mobile version , started typing. Would freeze the page, necessitating reload of app.

4. On login page change to desktop version can login, as well as using the forum in general

I initially though it was chrome problem since they introduce the tabs groups page as well as inactive function, maybe it still am

I just tapped on this thread and it hanged & I had to force close my chrome. Even typing this can feel my s23u heating up in my palms. Only browsing through lowyat forum does it, reddit does not

Have you tried using desktop version button at the bottom of the forum?

Seems so far can use, but the words are small af

Prime example what I have to deal with all the time

Chrome on Android problem. Firefox or Edge ok.

So far using this no lag/crash

tried to replicate your problem on a few google pixel's chrome browser as well as the new s25 but doesn't seem to reproduce the problem. Will source for a unit with an earlier revision of chrome and see if we are able to reproduce the issue.

Is there any specific thread where this happens, or its across all threads/topics. Also do you face this problem only when you're logged in or all the time?

I don want open new topic, is it forum or fb issue? If i press See more, the page will blank





Tested on pc also same, if i press back on browser, it will show back, seem it load a blank page

My chrome version



On an older 1plus 7 pro phone, android 11

Only seem to happen when logged in and mobile version

Doesn't happen with desktop version or incog or logged out (I think)

What differs is logged out or incog
There's pop up advert from bottom
While logged in doesn't have it

Admin no sound? Then this place feedback for what? Still having the same issues

no read post #8? or temporary use other browser

I tapped on reply button to your post and immediately my chrome hanged and I had to force close my chrome and it's now working. It happens randomly
