Any comment for this tinted, is it normal price for this tinted? or is there much more better tinted than UV Kool?

How about UV Kool Service?

Best bang for money and spec is Totalgard tint, local made. Cheap cz install directly at their factory in Kepong, KL. IRR99% and 100% proven on the meter

Besides quality of film, the installer skill must also be good.

different the branded/expansive/good quality tint vs cheap tint even both offer high IRR Percentage is the degradation. The one sold in brothers accessories shop, within 2 years lose out all the IRR due to degradation. Passed experienced choose branded, it still working good even at 5th year (verified with meter for IRR)

This was my second tint shop I went to install for front + 2 front passenger & driver window, took the 2HD because they said 3HD no stock at that time, then I said fine.
Kinda regret it sending my car to them to install, worksmanship isn't really that good compared to the one I went at Kelana Jaya. Roll up and down of window can hear the screech sound, the free sunshade they gave to pasang also didn't stick properly. I don't give a damn about their warranty if they can't just do their worksmanship properly in one go. I wanted to go back to the tint shop I went before but sudah lingkup and their main branch is at Johor, ain't no way I gonna drive down 4 hours down to install one. |

if u r oni concerned with uv, just buy transparent or lightly tinted polycarbonate to cover the glass since PC is inherently 100% UV proof

QUOTE(moiskyrie @ Feb 14 2025, 07:17 AM) I mean will not feel weird if just tint windscreen It’s normal. I myself do it many times too when I claim my insurance for broken windscreen. After change the windscreen, then only tint the windscreen.Door and rear still using old p2 tint..... Also what different between people tint vs 3rd party tint? Always hear they say security film.... I see also like normal tint only... Security film is to prevent glass from being break. Thickness will be 4mils and more. Normal solar tint is 2mil. But windscreen not allowed to install security tint. Only solar tint is allowed. Security for side door window only |

QUOTE(NinG @ Feb 14 2025, 09:34 AM) 3M also not bad mah. 3M crystalline is good, but make sure to do it at a Reputable 3M center cz too many fake 3M tints in the market.I believe on studies... not by advertisement.. but V-Kool no doubt expensive + gooding. You pay what you get NinG liked this post
