Hye. My Logitech Z337 suddenly stop working. Yesterday working fine. But today, no sound. I did notice the light at controller knob, dim a bit. Anyone know where i can send it to repair? I live in Sg. Petani. Penang also can.

First, do the following troubleshooting to confirm whether its Speaker issues or not :-

1. Plugin an Earphone or Headset, this is to confirm whether your Sound Card or Audio Out jack is working correctly.

2. Connect that Logitech Speaker to your Phone (if can) or another Computer or TV also can, this is to confirm whether the speakers is really having the problems.

3. Double check all connections such as Audio In jack (at Speaker side), Power Cord (Speaker) side, Power Point. This is to confirm its not cabling issues or insufficient power due to damaged Extension Gang or Power Cord.

4. If all else fails, then I would suggest to get a new set of Speakers of instead. It may not be worth the Time & Cost, but still your decisions to make.

I am using Logitech Z906 it works fine until today previously was Z-5500D but spoiled. Not everyone want to buy a new one. Sometimes it just an IC burned , or capacitor burn just replace that it will work as new. So me myself prefer send for repair if possible

Well, if the price is cheap (say sub RM500) then getting a new one is better than repairing.

Just turn the whole thing off. Disconnect the sub and unscrew the back panel. The board is usually attached to the back plate. Check for fuse, capacitor and amp chip. Usually leaking capacitor which lead to corrosion on the board. If board badly damaged then dont bother repairing.

BTW, becareful and dont try to touch those high power caps... those 250v ones.

i tried not to buy higher end logitech speaker... owned Z680 2 sets... 1st set spoilt on 2nd year and RMA new set with new warranty then 2nd set spoilt again on 2nd year and got replacement for Z5500 with new warranty. Then after used many years and the subwoofer spoilt and nobody is able to repair it. Spoke to logitech and they dont do repair and ask me buy a new set.

I got lucky with 2 free sets though... otherwise, wasted

Got chemical smell from the centre unit? If yes maybe of one the capacitors spoilt my Logitech spoilt during warranty period. Sent to distributor n they changed the capisitor. Working flawlessly for like 20y now 🤣😂🤣😂

I think they improve the design z906. If the device left idle without audio atream for more than 15mins it will turn off . Previous Z-5500d doesn’t do that.
