Official remake of 2016 Tamil movie Theri starring Vijay

Synopsis: John's peaceful life with daughter Khushi is disrupted by a sex-trafficking gang. Revealing his past as Deputy Commissioner Satya, he seeks revenge for his family's murder, saving minor girls and punishing criminals, before starting anew.

Pro:

- Varun Dhawan was ok but compared to the original, he lacked charisma of Vijay in the original. Wamiqa was show stealer of the movie. The kid actor also was good.

-Jackie Shroff was menacing as main villain, Nanaji

- Thaman done his job as Music Director well although the scores are rehash from his previous Telugu and Tamil works.

- Decent Cinematography

- Salman Khan Cameo in end credits

Con:

- Since it's a remake that was popular, most of scenes are straight from the original movie with some changes

-Keerthy Suresh deserved better Bollywood debut.

- Compared to the original, the movie was so violent.

- Does not felt like a Hindi movie. Also eerily similar with Jawaan Shah Rukh Khan movie (The making, staging etc)

Verdict: An okaish movie if you never watched the original.
