Honestly if it was 2499 I would buy it in a heartbeat. Was always looking to have a reliable phone for work purposes but this price list is ridiculous. I am better off buying a used ip15pro for the same price.

I mentioned used. I dont think we need to compare the processor. If that is the case then we should also look at battery life, camera, refresh rate, built quality etc.

If for second phone/office use, is it worth to just top up 700 and get the ip16 instead of the ip16e? Would there be significant difference in performance?

This is quite contradictory to other reviews I saw on youtube. The price of 16e is 2999 (128gb). I see that on shopee you can get ip16 for the same price after some discounts. If even the battery life is not better than 16 although 16e has a larger battery, then it only makes sense to go for 16 instead right?

So the best advice would be, if need to get now, go for iphone 16. If not urgent, wait for 16e to drop further. But I believe in Sept this year once 17 comes out, 16 will drop even further lol.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how often is this 16e lineup gonna be released. Is it gonna be the same like the previous SE? (Random gap between 2 releases) or its going to be yearly? And if yearly, is it going to be released alongside new lineups (sept) or just maintain every year march release? Its abit vague for me.

From a little bit of chatgpting, its mentioned that the E series line up will be yearly. Just not with the sept releases. Probaly the same time 16e was released this year.

I use iphone as my main phone and just gotten the newly launched reno 14 pro as my backup/2nd phone. After discount 2.3k. Seriously no brainer compared to the 16e. I was contemplating 16e as well earlier actually.
