So no iPhone 16e users here? I guess it’s really designed to upsell you to iPhone 16

Ever since iPhone 16e came out, ppl start to talk about iPhone 16 is more worth it. Previously people only talk about iPhone 16 pro is more worth it and largely ignored iPhone 16.

But for people looking for minimalist lifestyle I think iPhone 16e is quite nice once the price start going down to 2.5

Yes. If you ask me, better to go for this than iPhone 15.

Yes, but we have to look at the longevity of software. Minimum iPhone 15 pro will have Apple intelligence. Eventually most feature will based off Apple intelligence, so can enjoy a little bit more feature. But truthfully right now I don’t use it and turn it off immediately. Lol.

Anyways.. iPhone 15 or 15 pro also probably gonna have same year of software update so I guess it doesn’t matter much eventually. At least 16e should have extra years.

But I’m looking at eventually iPhone 17 air probably gonna be like 16e but hopefully better specs, MagSafe, and lightweight

i always told myself, if one day my phone got stolen, then i'll just get the base iphone, eg SE3 (that was before 16e came out). and today, it'll be 16e instead of 16.

i used SE3 too from 14 pro about a year i had no prob adjusting..but not everyone is like that lah just need 1-2 weeks to adjust
at least on SE there's no such thing as notch, otherwise everything after notch always have to pull things down to see what's behind

and now yeap 16e still has the minimalist vibe.... i've always been going back and forth between entry iphone and pro phones so there's always some satisfaction in both spectrum

it's always the weight benefit if go to left spectrum that interest me.

but for ur case since it's just 2nd phone...16e at least is the newest iphone after all use it till you sien or wait for 17 air i guess then pass to mom

True.. all in the name of smallest lightweight phone (iPhone SE 2022). But I don’t think iPhone 16e will have this prob anymore

16 / 16e both good

Especially recently 16 has discounts.. but eventually when both models discount, then 16e would be better buy

I feel secondary phone need to be as cheap phone as possible lo.

Mine just Nokia banana phone.. lol

Nokia 8110 4g.. those were the days when I believed kaios will be alternative to google go os.. but it never improved much.

Yeah.. keep telling myself to resist moving from 15 pro to 16e until it becomes 2.3k for 256gb.. well, maybe a bit hard. Maybe 128gb

What do you think of the battery life?

Yeah seems everyone says battery life is good only gsmarena got complain.

Yeah.. I wouldn’t expect older display tech burn up the 4k battery in an any big way. So it’ll be good if owners of 16e here share your experiences too

Same for 16 series.. that time pro and 16 also discount about 1-2 months later.

If don’t need phone just wait, unless die die must get it due to it being new. The reality is there’s not much upgrade anymore and things are always almost the same.

But as can see.. at 2.5k, iPhone 16e is around the price people are hoping it started with. Now it becomes competitive with 16

I think that price is ok for 16pm. Weight is always the prob for me for pm series but at least dun have to worry about not enough camera and battery.

16e peak brightness is less than 16.

But still adequate enough
