One of the reason why iphone can be sold at such great price is because there is no competition , in the europe country , the other mobile brand is totally Out of the games and making iphone is so stand up , can say the best phone they can have in their country, look at motorola , blackberry ....    totally dead
While if u compared to Google phone , it actually is stil pricy and isnt that cheap for an android phone.

But if u talking about China brand android phone , yes its cheap , actually for china, they dont ever care about the other country , they focus only for their own people and own country , u can see how agressive the VIVO , Oppo , Xiaomi , Honor is....Oppo saw VIVO have already implement fast charge , after a month Oppo xiaomi honor all follow the fast charging technology , then vivo saw oppo start using Silicone battery , after a month other company start follow and upgraded , this is what call "Competition" , they are too aggressive , and that the reason why the price war will happen too , and making the phone have better purchase value when there is more choice of supply.
Why Alot of people might have bad experience with china brand phone? The bigger reason is because the phone in CHINA OS is different with the GLOBAL OS. So anything latest feature will be implement to their China Rom first.... , while Global rom tend to get slow update or get less feature compared to the Original OS from china mobile company , and if u look directly to the china ROM phone , u will even surpise the price is different almost RM700-1k when the phone is officially arrived in malaysia , so u can imagine how Competitive is android phone in china ,  if one day , china can solve the GLOBAL OS to be on pair with their Original OS which i believe they are actually trying hard to improving , then it will be different story , it just like how many user that satisfy with Huawei phone before Huawei get banned because huawei really focus on their Global phone OS.
So the conclusion , iphone can just selling at any price because there is no competitive around Europe brand , and that the reason too why they can selling yesterday technology in today with such price and became 4trillion company worth in the world

But the china Rom Fon might have 1 problem with the apps utilize , no doubt iOS the holding the first place on this , buying electronic gadget dont ever think about the ROI , because technology doesnt hold the value 

For me , i wont looking for the fast charging alone , it's more like into one whole package.

Why implement fast charge? Because want to insert a more larger battery.

Why want to insert large battery? Because want to insert more high resolution screen.

Why want to insert more high resolutions screen? Because want to increase higher refresh rate to 120hz.

Why want to insert 120hz? Because want to give user to have better vision and smooth feel experience.

That the reason why fast charging kick in.
So basically it is more into a package , which i think it should be already done at least for all the 2023 device but u stil can see 60hz on 2025 new device    that rare for a 4billion worth company

i think initially he plan to get iphone 16E for his daily driver due to listen to other that iOS have better security  , but ended up he found the iOS operation not so user friendly and not his cup of tea compared to android especially the gesture , so he now will be back to android as his daily driver and the iphone 16E will be secondary phone for bank apps usage , not really hard to understand actually    , not every one can afford to buy a RM2999 phone tak sampai a month then u ask him sell RM2300 ,

so now he plan to use the phone as long as he can ,  at least that make him feel not so rugi that much la 
actually i really salute to you , because u are android owner and already rely to the 120hz refresh rate + fast charge , how on earth u have the braveness to spend Rm2999 for a 60hz phone 

i have iOS device , samsung , China brand Global ROM and CHINA ROM phone , that the reason why i understand how this 3 company work , i know their pros and cons , i wont praise a single company like GOD LIKE  , i will only praise for their technology innovation , we as consumer , we also hope that what we complain can be heard by the company and hope they can give us the improvement on the next launching product  we also hope they have a healthy competition so that we as consumer can enjoy better technology with low price 😉
