1. Storyline (7/10)
the beginning is okay, however at the cloud palace the conversation starts to get crowded when too many unimportant character appear

2. Character (9/10)
nezha facial expressions are supeeeerb, the voice acting and everything are full of impacts and emotions

3. Animation (9/10)
Amazing details and doesn't seem lagging esp at the volcano/lava scene at the dragon palace there, it indicates the rebellion against the system aka society （根深蒂固）, the downside is the battles of 3 dragons against ao bing nezha seems a bit repetitive boring

4. Family values (10/10)
there are not many movies that could make many people cry, but when nezha mom hugs him while he being pierced needles, his anger explodes onto being an full adult, and it shows unconditional love by his parents. Nobody can stop you when your heart is full of determination courage and love

this movie is designed to let these motherfarker sleepwalker in life who dont want what they want in life, its even better than the matrix

I don’t think it will be released here as most Malaysian still look down on China’s animated movies. The target crowd are the children but lost Malaysian prefer animation from US and Japan.

TGV and GSC probably didn’t buy the rights as they did not expect Nezha 2 to do so well in China beating all the other movies like Chinatown Detective, Creation of Gods and Condor Heroes

I think they underestimate the movie because it’s an animated movie. I guess they think Detective Chinatown and Creation of Gods are more sellable. That’s why Condor Heroes are release in end Feb and Nezha 2 and the other animated movie Boonie Bears are not released here.

Nowadays, there are way too many Malaysian CNY movies and the quality is getting worse. Last time only 1 or 2 and the quality was better like The Journey and Ola Bola

to make most money, can only schedule it after the cny movie slot

also possible scenario: distributor send the movie late for LPF to censor, the process takes time

after censor need to copy the master approved copy and send it to cinemas nationwide, these also takes time

summore need to promote it on radio, tv online etc

The Creation of God 1 overflowing with CGI. Really la I feel movies nowadays are all about CGI. Similar with fb u see so many AI images.

Feels like looking at stone but different type of rock only. No soul.

So much so I am rewatching older tvb movies.
