Tier-1 are usually those have a Contract with TM directly, there is a monthly quota to achieve and of course higher commission rate. Others T&C applies. Have direct access to Unifi Technical Team, usually they focused more on Commercial Building or Industrial area or newly developed area. They have high priority.

Tier-2 (which is my level ), no contract needed, no quota. Have direct access to Unifi Technical Team, ability to solve problems such as Port Full/Insufficient Port, No Coverage/Out-of Band, No Infrastructure etc. But all these required lots of time, still solvable but takes time. Target on existing coverage area after Tier-1 have their piece of cake.

Tier-3 are those usually found in Mall with Kiosks, Shops etc.

Tier-4 are those usually found by Road side with Canopy etc.

This is just very brief explanations, there will be typo and omissions.

Can I appy unifi biz for home use?

I only need ip4 public dynamic ip address. Home package cheapest so far only allow 500mbps which is RM149. Cannot get cheaper SWU5.0 will not give also.

I could not understand the messages being replied and it was same case for the other person.

Also, Is there no Unifi Package (Just Broadband only) like previous SWU 2.0, 3.0 but for Unifi Business? I understand the device is tempting to other people but I want cheaper price for long term use.

The offer you mention sounds like more of a Unifi Home plan that comes with TV. Since you say to wait for it.

Idk to me reading it, and all just speculate saja. Wait till ada official confirmation baru say about it. Even if not official, best support with some evidence.

- RM10 Waiver for 24 months, 25th months onwards will back to original price (promo valid until further notice).
- TM -> Non-TM Fixed Line = Standard call rate, TM -> TM Fixed Line = FREE, TM -> Mobile Line = 20 sen/min.
- Standard Wifi Router.
- No Phone, No Netflix.


B. Unifi Home 300Mbps @ RM129/mth.
- Download = 300Mbps
- Upload = 50Mbps
- Full 3 months Waiver (promo valid until further notice), 4th month onwards back to original price.
- TM -> Non-TM Fixed Line = FREE 600 mins, TM -> TM Fixed Line = FREE, TM -> Mobile Line = 10 sen/min.

Not All areas support 2Gbps, but can be check upon submission of application.


Yes, as long as you have a valid & active company name (registered with SSM), you can apply Unifi Biz package & install at home address.

All Unifi Biz packages comes with basic Dynamic IPv4 address. If you need a Fixed IPv4 address, just add extra RM 200/mth per IP address.

Thanks, but I was looking at the one you provided earlier as this one is for Unifi Business as currently I am using Unifi Business 100Mbps RM139/mth (old package) -> Unifi Business 300Mbps (after speed upgrade).

On the official unifi website, it shows RM239/mth for 500Mbps.

The 500Mbps package is like a Unifi SWU but for UNIFI BUSINESS offer or similar? since the price is different.

No wonder I get scolded upsidedown. Now telling me a company registration is needed for home use.

I only needed the package for personal home use only.

So cannot change home unifi to unifi biz if no company registration and also cannot keep unifi phone number from home unifi to unifi biz?

Yes, you NEED a registered company to apply for Unifi Biz. The only difference is that it can be installed at your home or any preferred address as long as the fibre infra is ready in that area.

Home Unifi cannot change to Unifi Biz because totally different infrastructure and server. Also you are not able to use the same phone number in Home Unifi to port to Unifi Biz.

But you can apply for Unifi Biz first, after install complete then only terminate Home Unifi package. That way, your downtime will be minimal.

Yes, its standard they give a normal AX3000 router. The router is just simple for Home use.

For the old units, you can either sell it off or repurpose it as Wireless AP to enhance your home's wireless network coverage.
