Hi.

Wish to travel by bus from KL to Sg. Petani.

Alone,

1 day trip.

Arrived morning.

Head back in the afternoon.

I was thinking get off the bus at the bus terminal.

Brisk walk nearby areas.

Then head back to KL

halfday brisk-walkin?...duhh... i can only suggest Central Square, across the walkway from express bus station, i'ts an aging mall btw, but got mcd, arcade & The Store...

before you go back, do visit Big Nose Ais Kacang Mesin at the old bus station

should spent a day ++ maa..got Tmn Jubli Perak, Amanjaya Central, & etc...

Why not take train. more relaxing journey, not tied up to seat all the time.

Where got old skool train now. My brother-in-law back to Penang from KL I think faster than that. He said more relaxing than taking flight Here is what I found:

Actually the train from Butterworth to SP (or going further North are even more frequent, if you want to take a break in Penang... like every hours (forgot already) because got people work in Penang commute daily like from Alor Setar as I was told by a guy working in KTM.
