Problem Suddenly when on road the aircon will become hot and not cold anymore.. for.this I have to stop my engine off and them turn on and only sometime it will back to cold. Some time the while day it's hot.
I have change the thermostat but still.having issue.
Nothing is unsolvable, you can even replace the whole cooling system from compressor to fan to radiator, hoses and so on. You just went to a wrong mechanic

Any one has similar issue .
The car i drive is Myvi 1.3L Auto. 2 months back it had same problem. But the intermittent AC not cold issue getting more frequent. So i took notice of what happens when the A compressor kicks in. I changed my thermostat too because it could be the culprit. But it isn't. Also had the gas checked and also the cabin filter replaced. Still did not solve the issue. But the problem was finally solved. Below is my observation on the symptoms.
Situation #1 When idling, AC compressor not kicked on when rpm is 600. As AC compressor kicked on, rpm raises to 1100 and then settle at 800. Then it kicks off and the idle goes back to 600. This is ideal and correct working condition.
Situation #2 But when the AC is starting to be not cold i noticed this, AC compressor kicked on, rpm raises to 800-1000 and stays there. But the compressor does not kick off. From here the Ac would gradually start getting not cool.
If you turn off the AC for a while and then on again, it might get cold again. But if situation #2 happens too often like mine, then there is something wrong on compressor side like mine.
I shared my findings and the symptoms to my mechanic. He said it is due to the failed and worn magnetic clutch on the compressor. He faced the same problem in his myvi as well. Does not need to replace the whole compressor. It is a wheel that locks by magnet to spin the compressor when needed to increase cold air.
I got this changed just before CNY. For Myvi it is labour intensive as need to remove bumper to access the compressor magnetic clutch wheel assembly. Looks like same case for your Axia. The job should be under RM300. But i cannot confirm the price as i change a few more things with labour packed into the same bill. The part itself is about RM100, more or less.
Now the car AC works fine and the AC kicked on and off like normal again even in traffic jam before CNY. Example of what is being change below for Axia. If your AC problem is really solved with changing this part, then we are like 0.01% of people not scammed by AC specialist that only want to do a RM700-1000 AC service for solve the problem.

My mechanic place is in Kajang. Maybe too far if you stay in PJ. (Its about 30km from PJ one way). I am only sharing my observation on the changes on the car that might be the cause so you can narrow it down for your mechanic nearby to solve it. AC problem can be quite hard to diagnose. But if you think you want to make the trip there to get a diagnosis and possibly fix it, can try. They are usually quite busy there.

It is easy to know your if your magnetic clutch is problem. Turn on aircond, see if the compressor clutch is spinning. If not spinning, just knock it with with something, it should turn. If still not spinning then it could be the relay. Or sometimes the connector from the compressor to the car is not properly connected.
If fan doesn't spin, usually aircon is not cold only when car is stationary. When car is on the move, the natural draft through the radiator will cool down the compressed refrigerant and the Aircon will be cold.

My Brother had the AXIA (First model) and had the A/c Squeal / Screech...turned out to be the Magnet clutch failed. Bought a Shoppee one swapped out and worked fine until car sold.
As other members have pointed out, find a good mech. that can diagnose and fix the issue without handing over your First born and/or an Arm or leg.
Unfortunately 'so called specialist' are dime a dozen. First step...ground work/research.
My axia 2022 model , today the air con not cool, usually can hear air con sound but nothing from compressor. Any way to fix myself first because tomorrow 1 may Holiday, no much shop open . My area is MIRI, Sarawak.
