Not sure if JPP or JTK have any power in foreign employee, but I think it does. Your friend may want to refer to them.
As long as there is black and white contract. If he report your friend on working without valid visa, he himself also kena under various act.
Even better if your friend have any proof that the employers is still asking him to work eventhough they know he is wihout visa. Any proof will do, as long as they acknowledge that he is working with them without proper visa. That will land them in hot water.

QUOTE(illwill3 @ Jan 31 2025, 08:51 AM) Yea thats what im worried about. report to JPP/JTK but end up getting deported and no help bcos he's foreigner :/ I do know that employer also can get in trouble, but i dont hv much faith in the system since I've read on multiple occasions the employers who employ ilegal bangladeshi people arent punished, only the employee is. But i'll give him this advice. tq! I'll check them out as well. didnt know they helped with this, only knew MCA can help a bit with loan sharks. thanks for the advice! no not bangladeshi work. got title/white collar job. anyways, thanks everyone for the advise. I'll share it with him. hopefully all goes well As mentioned, its not JTK or JPP power to deport foreigner. The power lies within Immigration jurisdiction. No doubt, he will be deported, but he will certainly get his salary first. A lot of foreigner also faced with the same thing during covid time, and they all got paid. Plus there is nothing to lose anymore, so might as well go all out. Don't let it slide. If u will, they will let it happen to another person again. Just go to Menara Perkeso, or lodge report to JPP and JTK. They will take care of it.
