Simple.
You are stretched out too much. You shoulders need to be relaxed with your elbows bent out and upwards. Kinda like super Moto type riding style but less extreme.
A lot of people riding upright bikes experience this.
Try sitting closer and have your elbows bent a bit more.
If you are too stretched out, your joints are "locked"
Some people either get used to it or eventually find a more comfortable position over time. Many people unfortunately incorrectly assume an upright riding position is by default comfortable. It's not. You need to do what you need and adjust whatever adjustments that the bike can afford you to get the correct position that is comfortable
