Planning to visit KL next week, probably starts on Monday.

Is it a good idea, considering it's CNY week?

I'm Malay btw, so not worried about Chinese, non-halal stuff.

Just wondering if the usual tourist attraction places will be closed.

Even if they close for cny , usually is on cny 1st and 2nd day, which is wednesday and Thursday.

so I guess Monday and Tuesday next week still ok go visit tourist spot.

You just need to double check if it is open between Wednesday - Sunday.

I believe most of Chinatown will be open, cos there's plenty of banglas to run the stalls.

KL should be nice to walk around on big holidays.

But problem is 10 years ago big holiday in KL and before pandemic are totally different.

There are way many more people now than it was back then.

peaceful, quiet, and less traffic in KL during CNY.

The usual morning and evening jam will not be there.

but shopping malls will still have a lot of people

tourist attractions surely opened because it is also catered to foreign tourists

yes it will be nice. most people balik kampung due to cuti sekolah.

malls will be full of people but that's about it.

tourist place shud not be closed , since it caters for all

planetarium opens during CNY

KL is not bad! there's still plenty of activities to do! i think only the first 2 days
