unknown taxi/van is worse still.

Been in Bangkok since October. It's fine if you exercise the usual caution.

Sucks right now anyway. Air pollution is pretty intense right now. Schools in Bangkok are closed and many offices are practising work from home.

From taxi kidnap, now spread disease until street kidnap, massage parlour kidnap.. and will go worst all because of money

Avoid tourist areas
avoid being alone
if che0ng find freelance. Avoid going to port
stay in hotel after 10pm
don't get drunk

don't speak mandarin especially with china tongue
don't simply friend friend with random mandarin speaking people

go with no "free lunch" mindset , use app call ride don't take random taxi/tuk tuk rides

get a trusted local thai girl / girlfriend / katoy with you
if you have a white / western face alike bulky friend with you that will help too
