Anyone can recommend headphones with mci for PC ? Main purpose is to call clients and secondary purpose to listen to music, my budget is around 200-300, don't really want to splurge on headphones, as long as mic is clear, decent quality will do.

What kind are you leaning towards?
Wireless or wired?
Ear buds or headphones?
If headphones, on ear or over ear?
Any additional features like Active Noise Cancellation, water resistance, replaceable parts, etc, required?
Are looks important if you are doing video calls?

I'm fine with both wireless or wired. I prefer headphones, fine with on or over ear, as long as comfort is priority. The rest is not important as I only make calls but not video calls.

How about going to a computer place like Low Yat Plaza, or Harvey Norman, and trying out some headphones? Could you do that? Because comfort is subjective and this maybe you can have a better expectation if you can try the units on yourself.
I myself use JBL TUNE on ear headphones with ANC, but then they are out of your stated budget. I thought to myself buy once cry once instead of buying lower end models and then finding out I didn't like the sound quality. For ear buds I use an Audio Technica pair also with ANC. For over ear I have a 3M Pro-Protect industrial hearing protectors with Bluetooth to use in noisy environments. As you can see Active Noise Cancellation/Reduction is important to me.

Back when I was first looking for headphones, I did look at Baseus, Anker and Edifier, and those are within your budget. Unfortunately I can't tell you if they are good or bad sorry

How's the comfort and mic quality for the blackshark V2? Is Blackshark V2 X similar or which is better than the other ? I'm currently looking at V2 X as it's within my budget, but so far none of the shops selling have tester available.

look man im gonna be honest, usually these build-in mic headset has poor quality. you needed a dedicated one. even its cheap its still better quality than build-in. headset is okay and does the job but if youre talking to customer most of the time you might wanna get a decent one.

Not sure about V2 X, probably a newer model
If no test unit then will have to count on reviews
I have seen reviewer test the mic as well

I can only say both Razer and JBL works well for gaming
I think you had a requirement for music that’s why I recommended more towards the JBLs

Harvey norman has JBL test units, can give it a go and they are quite comfortable
Just that blackshark v2 is lighter in comparison

I guess have to test drive even similar units to see what suits you

my ears become sakit after 1.5 hours wearing it....i dunno about you.

I initially had a Kraken before the ear cushion skin flaked away....that one...just decided to not be a headphone within a year.

Do you wear for long hours? Do you prefer closed back or open back?

Closed back has more privacy and better bass, open back has better sound stage and comfortable for long hours and is also more expensive if you need bass.

Here's my setup
- KZ ZS10 Pro
- Fifine K669 Microphone - With RTX Voice

I came over from headphones, as headphones generally only last 2 years before they start peeling. With earphones, you can get a bunch of replacement ear tips for cheap. Also with the KZ earphone the wire is changeable so you don't need to replace the whole thing.

Only downside with a microphone is you have to tune it properly or turn on suppression, if not people on the other side of the call can hear background noise loud and clear.
