Where did you see the listing ? Is there any 2.0 NA unit ? That should be more reliable as the 1.6T is using dry clutch DCT.

my friend dad's car . he wanted to sell it . looks good and performs really well. too bad it is discontinued (?)

Ya as I read most if not all 7 speed DCT are dry clutch. 8 speed box is wet clutch, like the one fitted in Sorento.

Elantra Sport same dry clutch 7 speed DCT, 8 years and counting. No issue.

Most important is the how much torque a transmission is designed for. This DCT is designed for 320Nm, so it has a lot of margin for the 1.6T.

The rule applies for any transmission AT, DCT, CVT, MT. Always refer to the torque limit vs the engine output.
