Wishful thinking.

More likely it is to add more regulation and red tape between local users and Binance like soft-ban on stablecoins, ask Binance share KYC and take a fee out of every transaction made by msians.

Look at past cases for ideas:
1. Luno - Stablecoins not allowed.
2. Wise - RM20k holding limit (holding USD4k+ is already over limit)
3. Banks - Very difficult to open Multi Currency Account with local bank. The ones you can open also have exceptions like cannot transfer in/out without going through MYR.
4. Local Brokerage Apps - Moomoo, Stashaway, etc unlike their SG version do not let you hold USD. All transactions auto convert back to MYR.
5. Binance - Ban MYR from p2p so people need to buy/sell under different ISO code

I just logged into B after sometimes idling, and placed an order for "Trump" meme, no problem to trade like the other user here. No VPN.

RHB MCA cannot do intrabank USD transfer else can just use it to fund Hata Global. (Hata Global is using RHB to hold USD)

Moomoo sg, tiger all use DBS. You can transfer USD from sg Moomoo to DBS acct then transfer to tiger

That's weird. I done KYC on 2023 and I didn't receive those message. I can trade without any issue. I can do P2P also but you cannot choose MYR only. They replace with another code.

It is annoying but it is for security purpose I guess. Good also, so that won't have people with forgot password.

Besides anyway, they only ask you to input password like every few weeks or so, not force you to change password every 3-6 months like how some does. Gila.

I guess.. Luno is nice, but they're not top CEX in the world. Luno at that time needed more market, and Malaysia was good because we didn't had Hata and Malaysia is very quick to block anything that is not legal. It's different with Binance.. Binance don't need us, we need Binance.

Luno price never followed real time, the price is like match fixing scandal. Many times the price already up & up, but Luno still showing lower prices. Really fed up

IBKR the legit stock broker in US , UK and Europe also dont accept MYR directly. i dont think Binance will be accepted that soon.

i tot Hata is part of Bybit? because last time i saw Bybit logo in Hata website

altho hata is licensed, careful of other platform using bybit logo, lately saw few new platform and have HATA logo on them as to build credibility XD upon searching on google, there's no relation on them.

I think Bybit is ban by MY already, just saying that for better marketing outlook for restricting MY user only.
