Remember those uni kids that raced on the penang bridge?

and ended up a Mazda SUV was rammed off the bridge and youth driver drowned in car?

Young and dangerous youth drivers. They think they are immortal. Watch too much Fast and Furious movies.

My son turned 16 this year and I already plan to start teaching him how to drive.

Personally I dont think anything change with or without licence. If he got licence, then its a different story? There is nothing to politic over an accident to be honest. As parents, I also do not think we should nag too much on not to speed on the road as I think most of us do and do it while our kids is watching. Instead we should teach them how to drive fast properly, respecting other road users and maintain the car in good condition.

Back to those days when I first got my D license for driving.

My father gave me another on-road training, driving around car park and etc.

But...while I was fetching friends, I always want to drive the car with speed and enjoy the adrenaline feel.

There is one day I sped up so much and I almost couldn't brake in time while approaching a toll. That time I was driving an old beat up Proton Saga with not much tire tread.

Young and dangerous...really is evitable...just my luck is good enough to survice until today.

Exactly. Takkan if he has license and won't cause the accident to be happened?

with or without is another issue from legal prospective.

you know la these days kids would be wild especially when you are in your teenager age before hitting adult, everything must try out without thinking the consequences, or worse got challenged to do so. That's where parents need to step in and check what their kids activities and what have they been doing, don't just brush them off thinking they are just kids/young let them have fun.

before crash, might think everything will be business as usual, then there goes overstep the boundary.
