ST50F should be RM50 cheaper than ST56F.

HX520W certainly a great PSU.We also have Mushkin 550W Modular PSU at RM3XX in LYN.

Let me show how does the packaging different from any other manufacturer ..

I've opened many but may not used too many PSU .. but this is far one of the best PSU packaging I've ever opened. solid inside out ..

The psu was wrapped with a plastic bag and placed within this thick foam. Very secured as the foam is about 2cm thick and could absorb lots of vibrations or impact.

PSU specification, should be the same as the website as well.

All the cables needed, and plus side that I've got from this unit is it support 2 X PCIE- 6+2 pins which was absent in older batch. So I can run this PSU on my 2900XT with CCC over clocking enabled..

I didn't aspect this as most of the review out there were for older batch and it wasn't supporting PCIE- 6+2 ..

Great job by Corsair knowing what people wants..

Anyway the PSU is definitely silent and doesn't produce random buzz sound like some other PSU does ..

By far the most satisfied PSU ever used and definitely beat CoolerMaster and Enermax for sure..

Overall quality of the PSU and leads still can't beat Tagan coz it operates based on more flexible modular cables rather than thick rounded leads offered by Tagan.

Just for ur information both Tagan and Mushkin is made by the same manufacturer according to one of the staff at ATE shop... which is why both PSU features the same thickness and types of cables.

So both are solid but the Mushkin would be better deal as lower price.. it's another one that I would recommend after this Corsair HX620..

I chosen it due to it's modularity and flexibility of cables.. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Doom, u sure the Mushkin HP-550 a good choice?
even though it price around Rm330-350 (which is very affordable), the review is not convincing at jonnyguru.com

Do they bundle the 6+2 PCI-E power connector with HX520 or is it only reserved for HX620?

The benefits of modular is better cable management. However, I read that the disadvantage of modular is that the modular interface could be a weak link (if not well made) compared to direct cable from the PSU inside.

Yea:)

But i think those well-branded psu should be no such problem.smile.gif

Corsair HX series is high recommended. So i think will not be a problem lo.

Between OP650 and HX620, what does each of them have in advantage of each other and which would you guys choose over?

And when the Corsair PSU was released, many people had been complaining about them breaking down. Is this true or it does not exist anymore?

Breaking down? dunno got such complains. I've been using the HX520 for few months already
and so far so good. very stable + silent rclxms.gif I decided to buy it after I read THIS REVIEW. And according to
the review also, Corsair is using Seasonic psu.
