I'm currently in the midst of process to sell my current daily but at the same time experiencing hiccup regarding the offer price since I use Carlist & Carsome as reference point for setting the benchmark for the price.

here are my details

1. Brand : Perodua
2. Model : ATIVA AV 1.0
3. Year Manu: 2021
4. Mileage : 100,000 - 110,000 km (NOT Ride hailing)
5. Target selling price : within range from RM50k-54k (based on carlist & Carsome with similar condition)

Here some of the information I have receive so far

a. Carsome online evaluation : Fair condition estimate 39k - Excellent condition 45k
b. Carro offer : Final after bid is 41K

If go ahead with above, I need to top-up quite a lot to clear my outstanding balance with bank.
apart from above, where can I try to sell my car with higher offer? I need to let go my current car before end of this month (January 2025)

last time what i did after carsome and carro (mytukar back then) value is i nego with them, wiggle up by 2 or 3k i think.

lately see quite a lot car selling platforms, mobee, carmine. but tbh i dont think will differ by alot.

best option money wise of course is direct selling but not guaranteed able to sell by end of jan 2024, but probably won't hurt to put up a listing.

Try market place facebook or mudah

Self sell is the best, put in facebook market & mudah.

My mechanic got a lot of good luck selling in facebook market.

I will try to put it on FB marketplace & Mudah.my first.

proceed with carsome for onsite checking & offer, then decice carsome or carro.

if you need ask here, attempting to sell it yourself i dont think you will go through all the procedures/leg work

used cars will offer less, either option you still need pay difference to bank, thats nature of taking a HP loan.

no choice but to sell yourself on FB group. Try the ativa FB group.

you cannot based the price on their platform (carsome /carro). when buying , they will take urs lower because they need to make money to sell . at least 7-10k difference.

why u want to sell? moving out from the country?
