Hi all, I have a rather peculiar problem. Currently I have a post paid sub-line from Umobile with 120Gb. I need to restrict it to 2Gb. long story short, need to control kids access. are there SW that can do that? using iPhone. thanks |

QUOTE(p4n6 @ Jan 12 2025, 01:02 PM) maybe will ask Umobile if can set limit to shared line.when I register new line for my kid, the price of new line and family line are the same so I took new line since I get additional 120gb... now I see the folly QUOTE(knwong @ Jan 12 2025, 01:25 PM) Maxis app can do that. Main line can share/limit your data to subline. Since my mainline is unlimited (legacy plan they gave out when I sign my broadband with them) I also set my 2 subline having unlimited data. he..mayeb 20gb a month on mobile... wifi...god knowsHow much data your kids consumed in a month? |

QUOTE(Xploit Machine @ Jan 12 2025, 03:18 PM) what fone make? My kid is using the phone. So the warning will not do me any good. He will probably just ignore it and disable this data limit.Settings > Network & internet > Internet > select your carrier > Data warning & limit > turn on "Set data limit" and set your desired data limit; this will allow you to set a warning when you approach your limit and can even automatically turn off mobile data once you reach it. |
