OCBC easy leh. I did it all online. Nowadays dunno lah, BNM tightened all the regulations. Need company/uni offer letter or shit like that to even consider opening a bank account with any local bank. Blame all the retards getting scammed or renting their accounts out to scammers.

If u have one bank account in Malaysia , then any bank that accept ekyc all can apply. Ekyc thing more easy then u go to physical bank which needs u alot document etc , ekyc just need yr ic saja

Lel confirm buka acc for Bangla

I opened Bank Islam, UOB Bank, Hong Leong Bank thru online.

Only Hong Leong Bank that went with 100% online account opening. UOB and Bank Islam need to go branch for final process of account opening.

So far so good and easier to open an account with these 3 banks.

For other bank, I do have a good experience with Public Bank for account opening.

I think the key requirement mostly they want to know that you are employed to any company. They want to see your offer letter. So better to open your account before you decided to retire or become full time housewife.
