I've just inherited an ugly flat in jalan khoo teik ee.
Currently collecting rent rm900 a month.

Is there any chance this place will be developed?

Should I sell it or keep it?

I don't need cash actually. Just wanna know if it's worth the wait. And someone told me if I sell now the tax will be high. Is this true? I just got it this year.

Someone offered my grandma 400k few years back but she didn't want to sell it.

Is the rental of rm900 a month okay?
When I inherited it, the tenant is there. Now just collect money.

god knows when it will redeveloped. before you die, if it is still standing there in 40-50 years, then just pass down to your off spring :X

Not for own stay, for renting out. Many workers from restaurants, etc will rent. Is cash cow, and if redeveloped become treasure golden cow.

If you no want, there might be many that wants it at the right price. If RM900 rental is market rate, property market price around RM200k or lower?

As long as not top floor (roofing issues), should be a good to keep.

I think my rent is the cheapest. Some people rent it to banglas and collect almost 2k. Maybe the pool money to pay for rent.

Got 3 rooms 2 bathroom. 1200qft

Yeah u're right. After reading all of the opinions I decided to keep it la. Hope will hit jackpot one day

Market rate I think 500k. I ask people around there when I visited the place

Definitely hold. Hold for at least another few years just to see if there will be any news coming on to cash out.

Declare this as your income, might be helpful to get your own loan down the road to get properties.

Effectively covers half of your DSR of property below 500k. Meaning that your salary 4k also can get approval from banks for properties of roughly 500k.

Can also sustain you for moments where you have no income.
