I got use origo nvme enclosure with type c. Runs quite warm. Got test with salvaged ssd Kiowa, Samsung and even new Kingston nv3.
Faster than. Pen drive and normal ext hdd. Only the heat problem unavoidable. Case is aluminum. |

The heat not really big problem. Its like a warm phone when you do gaming. It hovers generally around 45-48c. A regular NVME SSD operating temp.
I own an Orico and a G-Link USB enclosure. Both works the same. |
