So the pre-order bonus is just.... either RM200 for registering OR RM600 (spend RM100 to buy the voucher, non refundable)?

Wonder any trade in bonuses....

Anyone have previous years experience, once S25 announced will S24 series still be sold on samsung website?

Placed my order for wife's S25 to replace her S21. Finally no Exynos.

Price RM3999 (free double storage to 512GB)
With voucher -600 + 100 (cost of voucher)
Claimed samsungpay points RM894.89
Final paid price RM2504.11 + RM100 (paid for voucher)

Hoping to also get 5% from shopback (~RM125), RM400 from CIMB (debit card as I cancelled all CIMB credit cards long ago) and RM740 from trading in my old Note 20 Ultra 5G.

I think its a rebate, not a deduction. You pay full price and get the rebate at some unspecified future date (I can't find T&C anywhere else besides the brief description on Samsung site).

Hmm why ya'll got the CIMB discount immediately on order? My order (7.30 am 23rd Jan) via CIMB debit card didn't show it at all.... I thought it would come as a rebate.

No need voucher also though, get EPP or something should be same value. I used my voucher immediately in the morning anyway.

Not hard, just swipe 50 times a month (twice a day, or more is better). That gives the cap of 2000 points (which is worth RM60). One year will get 24000 points (RM720). I exchanged almost RM900 worth of points for my purchase, this is slightly over a year of use (I will always hit 50 times a month).

Best way to use it is low value swipes. Parking, petrol etc. Some who have access to a CC terminal will just swipe for low amounts on that. But if you just go to petrol station and swipe a few times that helps also.

Should be the price you pay isn't less than 50% of new device price. Even if residual value is more than 50%, it gets capped.

Am chatting with customer service now regarding my 23rd Jan 7am order. They say 'no stock availability' and will receive in week 9 2025 (between 24th Feb and 2nd march). Ridiculous.

Anyone got advise how to bang table (figuratively)? I don't want to shout at employees just doing their job - but someone needs to answer for this.

I traded in my old Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Already handed over the phone even though haven't gotten the new phone. It is handled by another company (Compasia), not by Samsung, you can either drop off at CompAsia store (what I did, in Sunway Pyramid) or arrange for pickup at your house/work.

Not worth it unless Samsung 'adding' tradein rebates, IMO. Its the same as just selling your phone to CompAsia, they will evaluate it and offer you a price. Mine had a bad battery due to age, which bloated a bit resulting in the back cover separating slightly from the rest of the phone. So from the 'estimated value' for good condition N20U (RM740) CompAsia offered me RM555. I accepted as not using the phone anyhow. Probably you can get better value elsewhere. Note that if you already submitted the IMEI for tradein and decide not to sell to CompAsia, that IMEI can no longer be used for tradein (blacklisted).

Confirm cannot. I tried to do so with my Fold6 also. CS says the points only used for purchasing items.

You can just put the IMEI of the phone and then not do the tradein. They won't clawback the extra RM600 (but will blacklist your phone from future tradein attempt). Some have done this with old phones just sitting around, doesn't matter how old as long as you can access (or remember) the IMEI.

Yes, because the opposite also applies, you are 'promised' a certain value for your phone but not necessarily CompAsia will give you that value.

No idea on reverse charge etc. but I think should not be a problem.

Sigh, Samsung such an idiot. Not enough that the pre-order takes more than 1 month to arrive, my order was also TOO EARLY and didn't get the CIMB rebate. And I keep complaining to them - their 'solution' is to cancel my order and repurchase. The specific site they give cannot use SamsungPay points so I would end up paying much more.

What sort of useless customer service is this wei....

Yeah, I ordered 7+am. Despite all the advertising, there was no clear TNC, so I just paid with my CIMB debit card assuming that the rebate would come later.

Mana tau later in the day on this thread people were putting screenshots that the rebate is supposed to be deducted at source.

Stupid Samsung, loyal customer order early get screwed and no attempt to make up for it. Just ask me cancel and pay more expensive price without using SamsungPay points.
