So far what I like and dont like with S25U after spending a few days with it. (Coming from S23U)
Good
- Transferring from S23U to S25U is very seamless some apps no need to login somemore
- Battery life - Maybe the phone is still new, 4-5 hours SoT so far
- Smooth, no hiccups
- Google Assistant X Gemini, better than GA alone
- Camera better then S23U (but not a wow kind)
- Better 5G Signal
Bad
- Notification menu - Not used to it
- Lock screen - Previously you can press the clock and get additional menu like when is your next alarm etc. Now no longer available
- Goodlock Lock Star - No longer available
- Lockscreen - Widget customization, very little compared to before
- It seems that Samsung X IG if you use the front cam you are no longer able to Zoom in anymore
- On min brightness - It seems that the PWM control makes your eye pain (need to explore again)
- Changing from a curve screen to flat screen, feels like the corner swipe not that responsive anymore
- Notification menu customization - Looks like Themepark not yet update? Making some of the menu button look weird.
- SPen now its smooth, very smooth. No longer it have a rubbery layer - For me it keep sliding down my palm
Looks like more bad than good haha. If I can think of more good will add it in. But more or less its the same as S23U which is already very good in terms of SW/ HW.
Not worth for me to upgrade from s24u. For me my s24u 1 full day I use still have 50% while my iPhone same usage 30% left. You still get all that buying a S24u cheaper by 2k
Only disappointment for me was Apple Watch Ultra 2 vs samsung watch ultra ( Apple 3 days+ confirm while samsung lucky 2days+ most of the time 1day to 2 days. You need to use back the original samsung charger to get 1 hour 30mins, anything else 4 hours
