QUOTE(Confession @ Jun 14 2025, 11:45 AM) Don't listen to that one samsung hater fear mongering here. So far no reported case even from Reddit. Still too early to say tbh, not even one year RedDevils88 liked this post

Actually what's the root cause of that? It happened since S22?Now samsung sudah macam Germany car ya , after 5 year warranty kena cepat2 sell Because my previous S10+ used for 6 years never had that issue |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 14 2025, 03:59 PM) Actually what's the root cause of that? It happened since S22? i remember my note series that i use for long time until the phone hancur also never have the green line issues , until my S22plus and it happen , my fren de s20+ also greenline.Because my previous S10+ used for 6 years never had that issue What i believe is it started when samsung make the screen more thin bazel for the phone , as u know the thinner the bazel , mean the contruction will be more weak , so anything heat up or drop might easily cause the component break down. So for those dont fall / water damage , most of time they get the light saber after updated the phone , because during updating , the phone will heat up and might be this reason the LINE component break down and causes light saber. That why u notice alot of ppl making joke putting the phone in freeze during updating , or put in front of air-conditional People getting pissy off because china thin bazel screen rarely face this kind of issues , but for samsung phone , the chance is very very high , so either samsung have to solve the heat issues during updating (maybe can throttle down the speed of upgrading so the phone doesnt heat up that much) , or improve with new technology to make the bazel more stronger. Like the Vivo x90 pro series using samsung E6 display also often kena light saber , but vivo steady , a 3-4year old phone stil able to get free replacement screen without question This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Jun 14 2025, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 14 2025, 04:20 PM) But doesn't explain why S10 series never got this issue and suddenly S20 got then it seems getting more and more common until today that is the reason why samsung customer piss off , spend premium price for flagship but yet getting such quality of screen , people willing to spend on flagship because they wish to use for a little long time , but if the light saber happen after 2 year of usage , no point if samsung promise to give up to 7 year of update. Actually s20 era stil less kena light saber problem , i believe macam start from s21 era , the light saber effect more user , because s21 used back the flat display with super thin bazel , plus the s21 use the snapdragon 888 which famous with OVERHEAT issues , the s22 8gen1 also having Overheat issues. But it's sad to see even though s23/s24 already using TSMC design 8gen2 8gen3 , it stil cause the light saber This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Jun 14 2025, 04:33 PM |

Photography is important to me.. been reading up some reddit posts and seems quite a number of users are complaining of subpar camera qualities and also focus issues. Can current user advises on the camera quality pls |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 14 2025, 04:20 PM) But doesn't explain why S10 series never got this issue and suddenly S20 got then it seems getting more and more common until today Cos Samsung is using subpar components inside their Fons during MCO, remember the Note 7 hand grenade, they started using subpar battery cells that catches fire if too hot or used for too long. Caught red handed but refused to admit untill there's too many cases unable to sweep under the carpet only then Samsung recall all the Note 7 |
