may i know how can we make sure that the house is in good condition including plumbing , wall (no crack , water leaking, etc) , flooring, before hiring an ID to work on design and renovation work. as we all know that nowadays even the property is built by well known developer, there is always wall crack, water leaking issue and other workmanship issue still. what if after putting in big chunk of money into renovation work, that after few years, all the defects started to happen. any recommendation how we can mitigate the risk.
