However the downside is bloat and malware.

a few cwwk n5105 for pfsense/proxmox/esxi/truenas
gmktec k8 for batocera

if you're concerned about bloatware/malware, just reinstall the OS/buy without SSD
or if you're really paranoid, check about reflashing the bios with coreboot

Bought 2... GMK G5 and non branded T9Plus...

No complaints from me being a full system at RM6xx complete with Windows (dont know if its legit or not but it activate just fine).

GMK has N97 + 12gb ddr5 + 500gb m.2 while T9Plus has N100 + 16gb ddr5 + 500gb m.2 as well. What really surprised me is their size...

What bloatware are you talking about? Its clean...

My beelink mini pc just arrived late this afternoon. Not sure about bloatware etc as my win11 still in Chinese language. Tomorrow I think I will have to download win11 and reinstall. I think after format and reinstalling a fresh copy of windows, all bloat and malware, if any, also will be wiped out right?

Btw my mini pc is Beelink Ser8 8745HS (Ryzen 7) with 32gb Ram and 1TB of ssd.

Usage?

Many mini pc are sub 50w thus offering limited amount of performance due to the power limit especially if you plan to game.

Then dont take the low power Intel N series. These dont multitask well especially if you use video conferencing.

I read several reviews says no point having the npu. They even say the 8845 runs slower than the 8745. Anyway I use this pc to play some games only. Won't be using any AI stuff.

I think price difference is RM400. Btw Beelink website got sale now.

Game? Why not wait for strix point? Hawk Point not that good right? But also quite skeptical of AMD rumours... sometimes always hype beat this beat that, at the end, meh... now quit competing with Nvidia
