Getting Started

|
This is my yard area. It's very small. I prefer top load washing machine but if I did that I can't stacked a dryer on top of it. So I was planning to put it on movable wheel so I can pull it forward to load my laundry like pullable drawer in kitchen cabinet. I'm not sure whether anyone have done this before and I also concern about the hose that will lose over time in the process of push and pull the washing machine. I'm planning : Pullable top load washing machine, slab, dryer on slab. Both machine in closed cabinet all the way to the top. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

It is possible. Basically you install a rack and put the dryer on top. Then you put the washing machine at the bottom on a roller or coaster. You'll have to be creative with the wiring and the water inlet/outlet. Basically, you want to make sure you can pull the washing machine forward without disengaging the power wire, or the water inlet/outlet pipes.
As for the dryer, usually not an issue, but you need to make sure you can service the lint filter yourself. Don't let it accumulate, it will become fire hazard.
