What is the serial number? You should double check/confirm if you received same unit as the advertised model first.
Most TV that is QLED will have 4K/UHD support, it doesn't supersede like you think. Quantom Dot being a technology that works to enhance TV LEDs.
Its clear you didn't do much research about TV specs and now you are just jumping to conclusions without gathering facts. Though it can be quite confusing with every tv maker creating their own terms for higher range models.
But generally, are 3 main types of LED in the market, sort based on lowest to highest budget:
LED - Being the cheapest, it has many variations on LCD subpanels: VA, IPS) & supported resolution 720p, 1080p FHD, 4k UHD. My TCL 4k QLED TV sits here and has VA panel.
MINI-LED - All likely to support 4k/UHD. Samsung QN85D is Mini LED with Quantom Dots, calling it Neo QLED.
OLED - All likely to support 4k/UHD. Samsung also once again combine Quantom Dots technology with OLED, calling it QD-OLED
In the end I think you just need to play around with picture settings to calibrate to reach the same viewing experience you have with exact same video on another QLED TV that you are comparing.
