What kind of activities or communities should I go so that I can meet more people, know more people and potentially meet my other half?

Dating apps doesn't seemed to work for me, I'm always genuine, you could say I'm a super straight guy. Plus I'm kinda scared of some weirdly enthusiastic girls from China which feels like a scam to me. So I've never met them irl.
For locals,I can understand there are tons of guys getting matched with them no problem, but maybe because of that the girls felt tired of all the bs they have to go through lol.

I'm thinking of joining some sort of sport. Maybe go to church?
I'm definitely an introvert, cause it always felt scary to me when people are overly enthusiastic haha.

Pickle ball group?

Run clubs like one FB or some other platform?

Well, that's why I wanna get tested and confirm that I'm clear.

I'm generally a shy guy. My main aim is to be able to talk to girls by not being awkward every single time. Plus I'd like to improve my social skill and social anxiety. Too afraid to approach people in general
