the process is council will paste a notice on the windscreen after notice period ended then they can tow the car away.
But ofcourse towing might take weeks or months depending on whether depot still have storage or not because there is growing trend where people will dump abandon cars on the road. And most of the abandoned cars is dumped by car workshop. For council to scrap the abandoned cars from the depot is not so straight forward. The process to scrap it used to take 1 year but now it 6 months, so if the depot is full the abandoned cars on the road will need to wait till council scrap the abandon cars on their depot before they can tow others abandon cars. |

QUOTE(stormer.lyn @ Dec 26 2024, 08:50 AM) If, if, if. Always "if" strawman. Well, if the world becomes like The Walking Dead then you won't be worried about if there is an EV abandoned by the side in the taman. Also, what makes you think the EV parked in the porch, and not abandoned, won't catch fire since Maybe this lack of critical thinking is why you started your thread about getting a job at 51. 'Are you saying there are no laws? It looks like there are laws, but there is also a process to it. If you can't accept that, bring it up to your representative to make a change. Wow you got to be quite butthurt, lack of critical thinking? Show me evidence of lack of critical thinking or u just spewing out ur own lack of critical thinking. Do you know the risk of a lithium fire? You really like to change subject do you? This forum is about EV, if you got an issue about getting a job at 51yo, please comment there. Don't out of focus the subject. And do you have a reading issue? I am talking about finding a way out while still at a job Not getting a job. |

QUOTE(Palisades @ Jan 1 2025, 03:38 PM) ' Sure. You start with 20 year old car abandoned, and then you move on to whadabout if it is an EV can explode very dangerous. Is that a 20 year old EV abandoned?Wow you got to be quite butthurt, lack of critical thinking? Show me evidence of lack of critical thinking or u just spewing out ur own lack of critical thinking. I have to admit though, your other threads also helped me come to the conclusion about your thinking level. QUOTE Do you know the risk of a lithium fire? I did ask in my post though; abandoned at the side of the road can explode, means unabandoned in the porch cannot explode while charging?QUOTE You really like to change subject do you? Any thread that has the premise of "my friend...." or "my neighbor..." or something that happens to another person is already 50-50 should be in normal KIt's definitely not serious and should be in kopitiam instead |
