I have a TPlink EX511 mesh contrller.
Adding a Zyxel EX3220 T0 to the mesh.
Success. But, now the Zyxel is broadcasting a random SSID.

Did I miss a step or something.

The random number SSID only appeared after Zyxel is meshed.
Tried to hide it, but after mesh, i cant access Zyxel.
Hided it before mesh, still appeared.

EasyMesh by itself is kinda slow and buggy. Mixing different brands is just making it worst.

But I can offer an explanation on this. EasyMesh will always broadcast another SSID as the backhaul/backup link. The SSID should be hidden, but some routers are buggy and didn't hide it.

You may ignore it and use it normally.

Set Zyxel EX3220-T0 as controller. Also happen if set it as client to SR1041F with latest firmware. But no problem with SR1041F old firmware.

Yes. I have a few SR1041F, some can easily mesh to TPlink EX510. Some just won't mesh.

For my tplink Deco X50, i just pair the free SR1041F router given by TM , but SSID on the SR1041F , I had to manually rename it to match with my main deco SSID. after that no issues.
