At Malaysia, there are many shops selling recorn psp but they tell customers the psp they sell is new psp, so who can tell me how to identify whether it is a recorn psp or a new psp?pls help.... and i not very sure old psp be more better or slim psp..

u wanna make sure its a new unit, go sony msia and buy

or buy from a reliable shop such as bernard's shop aka gamers solution. my advice dont ever try simply walk into any SG shops!

yeah...wanna hear a funny story, my cousin has a console shop and onces i buy a ps1 from him and he selling me in full price and the console is recon..even the box has a the word refurbished...back then i dunno anything so i tot it was original...family members also wanna tipu...

anyway i think u should check the serial number on the box and the psp...

recorn, since when does psp use biodegradable corn as plastic... , noting wrong with reconditioned equip.. as long as below retail price and in good condition. and cleary indicated as such too... If no warranty comes with it... then it should be way-way cheaper too..

doubt. Game shops nowadays would purposely take the opportunity to mark up the price even if they know its a RECORN item.
@TS you sound like its your first time buying a console, either that or you're really young and inexperienced. If you're so afraid then better don't buy la.
