I happen to have a lot of scrap metals and papers. I recently sold it to a scrap metal shop.

I realized their rate is RM1 per kg for metal and RM0.20 per kg for paper.

I'm wondering if there are any scrap metal shops that have better rates than this. I have large volume on paper and metal that i'd like to dispose regularly.

Any recommendation around KL/Selangor area?

Depending on your volume also, I sold 4mt last week, the price should be around there.

If you have much bigger volume, you can sell to scrap yard at higher price.
