I drive a very old and unsightly car, and the police always stop me to check on me and the car.

Some even purposely U-turn from the other side of the road and stopped me to check.

Just now I was driving in the highway and the patrol car also stopped me when they passby.

Although I did nothing wrong, the feeling was very bad and sad.

Looking to buy a second hand car which tahan lasak for rough use.

Toyota is always reliable. If can afford, get a Camry.
BTW ts drive what car? Multipla?

Is it because of your car painting? I have a kancil 1997, it looks pretty beat up in terms of painting, one time I got questioned by police before entering puspakom and said to me "you sure this car can pass puspakom?", but nonetheless passed multiple times of puspakom. Wanted to try get a paint job before selling it off but quoted about RM1.8k.

Repaint your current car la if car still good. 10k cars are also very old already and u dunno condition of the car. Later more repairs. Rmb ah, old cars u buy used usually need get ready 2k for repairs, because most selling due to too much repairing and fed up with it liao.

Bezza will do the work. Malaysia most Grab driver used Bezza, reliable working horse. Those Grab driver min run 100k Km per year, car = income, those Grab driver know which is the most reliable engine.

Any honda, toyota, nissan would be ok. Try to take a newer car if budget allows.

My relative have a very decent 2011 honda city. I checked the car myself half year ago. Not sure if they already sold it. Selling for 12k.

Just curious, how lasak is your usage until cannot get normal Proton or P2 car?
If really must be tahan lasak, get a Toyota Land Cruiser but you cannot expect repairs to be cheap.

Used Peugeot or Kia.

Peugeot too much repairs but cops never stop it.

I'm now driving a 2009 Naza Ria for work. All seats taken out and installed with timber inside like a mobile office.

This car always overheating but a good mechanic solved it for much lower cost. Now more reliable than my Peugeot 3008. Only issue is the high road tax of 850 bucks yearly.

Just the car is old a bit, not because I don't have money. I just don't want to spend on something which I use it kasar because I am rushing with time.

So many people thought I am miskin to drive this type of car. I am not tin kosong like those driving pretty nice car, nice look, branded dressing but owe to banks a lot of debts

Better than before. Fixed mostly of the problem. Suspension sound [tak tak tak] gone. High rpm, rpm up and down [fixed]. Brakes not effective, oil leak [all fixed]. Change engine mounting. Service AC, change oil. Replace a new radiator [few month ago].....

it is cheap with 3k to fix all.

My car's driving comfortable level is not good too. I don't know if I spent like you, to fix all will be good choice or not.

I can also feel my engine sudah kasar sound.
