Do they develop any of those technologies? Or just pinjam other people's technology and actually run operation only?

Should be riding on DJI's tech and they provide services, and charge an arm and leg for it?

The reason for the call today, John, is something just came across my desk, John. It is perhaps the best thing I've seen in the last six months. If you have 60 seconds, I'd like to share the idea with you. You got a minute?

The name of the company, Aerotyne International. It is a cutting edge high-tech firm out of the Midwest, awaiting imminent patent approval on the next generation of radar detectors that have both huge military and civilian applications. Now, right now, John, the stock trades over-the-counter at 10 cents a share. And by the way, John, our analysts indicate it could go a heck of a lot higher than that. Your profit on a mere $6,000 investment could be upwards of $60,000!

This is what happens when government and GLCs limit their options based on race.

You may not get the best outcome for the nation, but is that their objective in the first place?

If u malay, then yes. Same as MARA. I know few malays who get grant from MARA to buy machine. After MARA settle the machine payment, they immediately sell the machine for 50% less in cash. Same goes for pinjaman too. Pinjam-pinjam, but donwan to pay back, and nothing MARA did to chase the defaulters. I have a lot of business ideas, but my country failed me. In the end, I stood on my own feet, did not get any handouts from them, and I am still willing to pay taxes eventhough my corporate taxes already reached 24% bracket for few years now.

Hard to be non malay. Your own country dont want to help u, and foreign countries are not willing either. So we are stuck here with politician that preached unity, racial harmony and equality everyday, but actually did nothing.

Why am I not surprised at all? As long as people dont change their mindset, these kind of "songlap" will continue at the people's expense. And some still dare to ask when will we achieve what they Sinkies have achieved.

correction - only indians suffer here. chinese malaysians still get a lot of opportunities. most private companies in malaysia prefer mandarin speakers.

He further described Aerodyne as “a high-risk investment” given that the money the real owners seemed to have put in is only RM100k in ordinary shares”.

“Mostly Kamarul and his wife with few Indian nationals,” revealed FreeMalaysian. “The rest of the money of around RM300 mil seem to come from public companies including KWAP (Retirement Fund Inc).”
100k from founders is already a lot. If it is me, I put maximum a few k. The founders are supposed to contribute efforts, not money. In Malaysia, the founders are even expected to live on their own savings in the initial years. This alone already costs them a few hundred k of lost income.

People build a company because they want financial returns. They want financial returns because they don't have enough money to retire. If they have a few millions, so that they can put in several hundred k, they won't build the company.

The drone tech is bought in. Their strength is in AI based analytics. That is developed in house. When they did the TNB power line inspections, they can turn around few hundred towers worth of inspection data within 24h. We competed against them for many inspection tenders and their guarantee of that turn around time was key to them winning almost every bid.
