Watch this space, for the launching of Binastra Cochrane Park at Jalan Cochrane (besides MRT Jalan Cochrane).

Not gonna be cheap for that freehold land cost paid.

Interesting hotel, SA & Soho for this 3 acres. Let's see

Yes. Sunway Cochrane will be launched in Oct 2025 (as per the Edge newspaper). Interesting to know when Binastra plans to launch this next year, earlier or later than Sunway Cochrane.

Sunway Cochrane is freehold. Not sure if developer will make it as part of Velocity series (i.e. Velocity 4?). Price definitely more expensive than velocity

Old One Cochrane showroom demolish and land clearing. Possible new showroom for Binastra.

Also, something coming up beside Amaya maluri. Land cleared. But seems to be waiting for something.

On June 21, the Federal Court upheld a COA decision last year that quashed a development order for the construction of a 45-storey apartment complex near Jalan Jejaka 1 and Lorong Peel by Pavilion Integrity.

It also agreed with the COA's decision that the Kuala Lumpur City Hall has to acquire the land and build a road there, as gazetted in the Draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan.

In a unanimous decision, a three-member apex court bench led by Chief Judge Datuk Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah dismissed the applications for leave to appeal by the Kuala Lumpur city mayor, the then Federal Territories minister, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall, the Malaysian government and Pavilion Integrity.

Federal Court judges Tan Sri Nalini Pathmanathan and Datuk Seri Zabariah Mohd Yusof were the other two judges on the bench which ordered the appellants to pay RM220,000 in costs to the respondents that comprised of some 202 residents in the Laville and Amaya Maluri apartments located nearby Lot 810.

The said land on Lot 810 was originally set aside for the construction of a road to ease congestion in the area, but subsequently, the KL City Hall approved the construction of the apartment block and a smaller road measuring 20 feet wide — less than a third of the initially proposed road that had been gazetted in the KL draft plan which was to measure 66 feet wide.

Not too many condos here? Sunway velo 3 brings 4000 units... umm malaysians wanna live here? 3k rental only chinese nationals can stomach?

Too many actually within the same area 😅 This place is more towards investment rather than stay. And tenants normally prefer newest condo to rent.

So there's upside potential for Binastra & Sunway, given they are one of the last few developments near MRT Cochrane.

Over the weekend & peak hours, the traffic is really heavy at Jalan Cochrane and Jalan Shelly.

Its really KL and Bangkok that I see bite sized condos being built so exponentially in a particular area. Blocks with few thousand units. UK or more developed nations will never allow that to happen. Over Density will choke a particular area. But its also peculiar that developers continue to launch thousands of units time and time again. Means there is demand. Sunway aint that crazy. But one thing sure is that developers have more to reap than buyers. Just look at UNA. SDB is launghing all the way to the bank with almost 900 psf whilst buyers are holding to units worth 600psf. Well caveat emptor as always.

Location wise, this Binastra project has already lose out a bit.
Sunway is closer (if fact the closest amongst Sunway projects of this area) to MRT entrance.

This Binastra is located a bit further walk to MRT entrance. If dev does not plan for a walkbridge then ppl have to cross a road, either to Sunway Cochrane or to My town.

I just passby and noticed that the developer has updated their poster to highlight 900m walking distance to Monash University.

And the project name stated is Binastra Cochrane. I think launching soon 🔥

The Amberwood? First time hearing this. Where is the location?

Anyway the traffic is really bad during peak hours from Jalan Cochrane to Jalan Tun Razak especially at the intersection.

If you take MRT is okay, if you drive, think twice.
