My brother bezza is smashed by his old Neighbour when that "uncle" claimed in hurry to go to hospital for emergency ( "uncle" reversed and bang my bro parked car ).

that "uncle" refused to go Police station and report of his wrongdoing.

my bro did ask his spouse uncle who is supposedly a Police officer, he said that "nothing you can do except claiming your own insurance to cover the repair."

what can we do? any advice/tips/trick?

car is equipped with dashcam, but it's not equipped with parking surveillance.

I heard If not under petak basically park at your own risk , some say yes is your front gate if someone blocked your path way dbkl can come pull the vehicle always , technically no one can block the entrance which mean anything outside your premise even the gate is your but still outside the gate technically still consider park at your own risk.

Happened to my neighbour recently, similar event. Just try to get CCTV recordings from neighbours around the area to show his car bang your bro's car. Then with the proof, police can give keputusan kes in favour of your bro as this will no longer be a "he said, you said" case.. If no evidence then claim own insurance.

edited.... add info.... hot-wired dashcam recording showing the event also can be used/tendered as evidence that the accident wasn't of your bro's fault.

I meant other neighbours cars dashcam, tak kira front left right centra rear cam. Any cam recording to show evidence that the accident is not of your bro's fault.

so, if we got any video as evidence, we can easily tackled case like this, yes?
