not latest internal. just compatible with macOS.

A big warning. Intel Wifi 7 (for now BE200) is incompatible with AMD systems. Some users have got some success but by & large they dont play nicely for now. Some say its a driver related which Intel is lazy to fix but might be hardware level too.
For AMD to use Wifi 7 use Mediatek (or Qualcomm?) based cards or stick to Wifi 6E, AX210 does work with AMD.

Overlooked the fact that TS don't need a Graphics card.

If you are willing to forgo mini ITX, the M4 Mac Minis are arguably one of the best SFF options out there (if you don't mind the silly margins on storage/memory):

Quite cheap too, compared to comparable mini PCs

On par with a 14900K in terms of S/T performance, has a fast GPU, and it's even faster when it comes to content creation workloads and more importantly, it's power efficient too

Of course, you do lose modularity and repairability (a dealbreaker, to some), but if you are willing to learn about the idiosyncrasies of MacOS this one would almost certainly be the best choice out there

Good idea. For now surviving on Samsung Dex desktop mode. Let's see how far can survive without proper windows software.

Yeah, base model is affordable. Upgrade prices are criminal.

for normal desktop usage and non windows specific app, for footprint the base mac mini m4 is the superior choice now
