Just wana know, which type is commonly use and durable. total length is around 14 feet... drain width is standard 12', already has the existing extra steel drain cover which can be reuse. Renovation contractor says concreate drain (image 1) is ok ald , no need the clay drain (2) or cement drain (3) Anyone can advise, Tx.

QUOTE(antoniobakrie @ Nov 27 2024, 07:10 PM) Just wana know, which type is commonly use and durable. total length is around 14 feet... drain width is standard 12', already has the existing extra steel drain cover which can be reuse. Renovation contractor says concreate drain (image 1) is ok ald , no need the clay drain (2) or cement drain (3) Anyone can advise, Tx. The RC drain is better because it is cast in-situ, offering flexibility to fit your existing steel grating, especially since your required quantity is only 14 ft. Vitrified clay pipes and precast RC drains are typically used in projects where faster completion is a priority, as these products are factory-made.
