I want to tinted my glass sliding door.

Objective for privacy purpose while maintaining the brightness inside the house.
What is the best recommended item, brand, and can it installed DIY?

can be installed diy , i done my whole house tint 3 sets of sliding door 4 room each room 2 sets of window ,purchase 1 rolls of tint cost around 500 , window can be done 1 person. Sliding door recommend to have extra 1 helper .

what brand do u buy? any recommended shop? Is your room getting darker that badly

covid time i diy tinted my house windows myself 1 person.
small area okay easy, less error and bubbles, but cutting to size need patience. I would think big sliding door will be a challenge and best with help.
i got from lazada unbranded. now the tint faded and no more privacy.

buy it online, install it DIY.
buy the dimension slightly larger than the window panel, cut the edge perimeter and done, no problem.

if hand no skill or no skill in handicraft, please dont.

look easy, but not. that measurement, and bubble, and wrinkle.. i do, i frustrated. lol.

Bought my tinting film via Taobao during MCO period, around RM200 for whole house - 3 room windows + balcony sliding door.
Easy apply, not happy just peel off and redo, can be reuse if u peel off quickly and properly.

Buy some tools from diy shop and just do it. It's not a difficult job, just challenging to do properly. I've done all my house windows, and then when confident after the initial practice, also went on to do my car.

Let me just say I'm more than happy with the results and the cost savings from getting someone to do it.
