Hello there. I know people will be mad at me for this.
My Father (62,M) has diabetes and suffered from a minor stroke. He also needed dialysis but he refuse to do so.
Supposed he’s appointment was in October, but we didn’t went for it as he didn’t want to and also when he was hospitalised before, one of the doctor said there’s nothing you can do besides checking up on him (since hes now into palliative care).
Now, his medications ran out and should i just bring him to the emergency department? And also can i still use the referral letter we get from october?
Apologies for asking such urgent matter here.
Please be kind and thank you.

Maybe ask ur father, is it he want to end the suffering fast?
Sometimes keep someone alive who is very in pain is very suffering to them.. u wont know wad they are thinking.. everyday wake up body is aching here n there..
Their mental state is very weak and also always is silent depression and anxiety.
Probably just can make their pain more manageable is the best solution

Getting Started

|
quickly go emergency, my uncle (my mom youngest bro) stroke patient but did not take medicine after it finished similar to your dad. One fine day, he fall down and became coma then pass away about 4-6 months later without regaining conscious. I don't wish that happen to your family but non of us here are qualified enough to give you a clear guideline what to do. those who qualified will likely refrained advising to avoid unnecessary professional liability.

TS asking to 'be kind'
PMX allocate the largest budget 2025 for healthcare, is that not kind enough?
Can we ask you to be kind? For TS to eat healthy, set example to your father, so he eats healthy too.
You've been to public hospital, you know how long are the queues and so many sick people, can you be kind stop adding burden to public healthcare?
