Samsung's software updates in October/November 2024 have caused a current overload in the phone screens of all S22 series models, leading to vertical green or pink lines.

Affected models: S22 Ultra, S22+, S22

Mine S22U Korea set from Shopee affected within a year, didn't send back to seller to claim warranty cos worry fon gonna get stolen by courier staff. After update to latest update whole screen become white very bright unusable.

Samsung quality is questionable especially when they are selling their fons at sky high prices.

That was exactly how it felt when the dreaded green line appeared out of nowhere. Hopefully, raising awareness will catch Samsung Malaysia’s attention and push them to provide a solution for their loyal fans facing these persistent screen issues. It’s frustrating to see other countries receiving better support.

Even Lyn didn’t feature an article about this issue on their main page.
