Sorry guys, bt i think the top scorer of English Premier League Season 07/08 will be DIDIER DROGBA of Chelsea football club. That is if he stays and continue his professional career in Chelsea and do not leaves chelsea during the January winter transfer window

if he isnt plagued with injuries, its most likely van persie. He was out for half of last season and still bagged 11 goals.

actually ... i think we have to consider many things like injury, african nation cup, suspensions, rotation, form and others ... who knows this week EPL game Drogba gonna injured badly and have to rest for entire seasons ... ... so the conclusion is ... too subjectives .. anyone have their chances

I would say Drogba, provided he stays fit thru out and doesn't leave in the coming transfer window. He's the most likely source of goals for Chelsea, before Lampard

if he happen to end up as top scorer, i can see him being put into some club fans' "let's buy this player" list etc: Berbatov ,McCarthy

I doubt that Benjani could be top scorer. But anything could happen in the EPL. The same thing say about Kevin Phillips when Sunderland was promoted when he turned out to be the top scorer that season.

I would have to say Drogba. HE is the one most likely to score for Chelsea, unless they do something in the January transfer. For Man Utd the goals will be spread accross all the talents that we have.

i would say nistelrooy did anyone mentioned tevez?maybe he will assist more but i dont see any reason why he cant be the top EPL scorer...maybe to challenge nistelrooy or totti for europe top scorer too..

anyone of them can be. still early to be predicted. any of them capable to score and if no injury, one top team player can be there

defender: this i cant tell...defenders like mu vidic,evra,arsenal toure, chelsea defenders

I don't think this weekend game can be any indicator. After all it is one game only. There would be about 9 games left. Anything can happen from now right to the end of the season. What happen if Ronaldo picks up an injury after this game and be out of the season.

torres became the 1st liverpool player in 12 years to score 20 league goals and ronaldo is 1 goal short of george best's record..
both of them have some history to write, so they will go and fight for it to the end..

In Man Utd, Ronaldo is special and so do the other players. Ronaldo can be a winger and swithcable to a striker anytime. Rooney can be a striker or a playmaker, Tevez as well. They're creating and scoring goal by that way depends on opposition team whether they can read confusion made by us as a team or not..
